COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

Thanks to Jsquire for sharing this at his house. Amber colored with a thin white head and some decent lacing. Sweet sugary fruity aroma with a hint of carmel. Carmels, sweet fruits and a touch of malts. Not too bad, I liked it.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2005 Amber color (duh) with a nice malty and candy aroma. Decent tan head that didn’t last too long though. Smooth, malty and bitter. Nicely done. Re-rated the head retention in a tulip glass and it did a bit better.

(Stockholm Beer Festival 2007) Bottle. Amber/orange color, small brownish head. Roasted nutty aroma, some chocolate, raisins and figs. Malty nutty flavor, roasted and with fruity notes.

Bottle pours deep amber with a quickly diminishing head and lively carbonation.   Lightly roasted malts greet the nose.   I get a grassy/oat tinge as well.   Immediate hop kick on first sip quickly giving way to a malty aftertaste.   A slight sweet grain flavor on finishing.   Lacks good lacing, fairly full bodied.   Tiz a good Alt.

Orange amber body with smallish off white head. Sweet slightly toasty caramel in the aroma. The flavour is likewise, with a sweet maltiness supporting the caramel. Very sweet but not cloyingly so. Light but very smooth mouthfeel. My Mom went to Alaska and all I got was this tasty beer! :)

Bottle. Nice amber color. Good white head. Complex odors and flavors, with fruits, malts, and hops in good balance. Very nice taste. A far better than average offering.

Reminds me a little of fat tire. Excellent aroma and color (dark copper). Not as malty as FT, but a little sweeter. The flavor lingers. A good beer, but a little pricey.
