COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

Copper-toned with a healthy white head, this is a fairly decent alt. The aroma is a toasty caramel with some earthy hopping - well balanced. Very lively in the mouth, it’s got a rich toasted malt flavor with mild hop bitterness and some peppery spiciness. It’s got a crisp, dry finish. Well done.

Bottle. Reddish color with a white head. Smells of malt, orange. Tastes sweet, malty, nutty, and robust. I don’t taste much in the way of hops, but it’s a pleasant beer. Reminds me somewhat of Newcastle.

UPDATED: DEC 1, 2005 Had this on tap at Pap. The 7 for aroma is the malts. Reminded me of as a kid ridding past the malt house in the back of the Brady wagon. Otherwise not a beer for me.

9/15/05 Had one at the BOB in Phoenix. Missed something in this beer first time arround. More balance in the flavor that gave me a better impression of this beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours an amberish amber, with a decent head that didn’t last long. Aromas were mostly malty and a decent hop character in the flavor. Slightly bitter finish. OK beer.

Beautiful reddish color with a slight head. Floral/critusy aroma. Sweet, smooth and just a little bit watery going down. One of my favorite beers to looka t and not bad to drink either.

Pours a red/brown color, non-cloudy medium sized head, very quickly diminishing. An aroma of hops, malts, sweet, flowers. Good smooth nutty taste, clean finish.

Pours a nice dark amber color. Aromas of burnt malts, dark fruit, and some spice. Flavors of caramel, a touch a chocolate and nutmeg?.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2007 Pours amber in color w/ a medium sized, short lived froth. Residual lacing is good. Aromas of pungent malts. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. This creates a semi creamy texture. A bright malty character w/ a mild sweetness that finishes refreshingly. Good ballance. Theres a briskness to it that makes it appealing to me. The finish is only mildly bittered.
