Nothing special. Taste like beer. Good beer to give to your guests, right price, neutral taste, liked by most.

Very disappointing (especially after we finagled our way into getting an after-hours beer from the lodge at Lake Crescent. Boring at best, bad aftertaste at worst.

Bottle. Another beer I had in Vegas. Deep amber color. Caramel malt aroma. Taste was more toasted malts than hops. Rather liked this beer even though not great.

Bottle. Nice looking pour, light malty aroma. A malty, light bodied brew that would be a good session pick, but for me there is a middle taste, sort of metallic, that spoils the experience. Would like to try this one on draft and re-rate.

Small tan head that dissipates quickly ending up looking like a glass of iced tea. Clear amber hued brew. Lightly grainy nose, malty. Medium body, dead. Buttery malt flavors, lightly sweet. Fairly dry malty finish. Was expecting a bit more from this one, hmmmm? Thanks to fordest for the trade!

Got it from a friend when we were inthe middle of nowhere in San Bernardino California in a very hot day.Dude that places its lke a ghost town with just lowriders chilling in the streets.Anyway the beer itself its pretty average amber a hint of caramel at first and salty a last. What i liked best its the body has a really nice amber color woth a lot of a tan foam for head. But the aroma its not that penetrating and the aftertaste its quite boring. However it was OK
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ernest (5181) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 10, 2007
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2008 Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, off-white, fully diminishing. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly hoppy (apricot), lightly yeasty (dough). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Fresher bottle (new to Colorado), but still very boring. Not much like a German altbier either. Terrible head character/retention.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2004 Pours a copper color, with minimal head. Smells malty with a hint of hoppiness. Has a sour malty flavor. Has a lingering aftertaste that will not go away. I don't care for this too much.
