redgold07 (271), Fort Worth, Texas, USA May 1, 2008 Pours a copper/amber color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is slightly bitter/hoppy but also earthy. Flavor is well-rounded... a combination of caramel hops and earthy, lemony bittering hops.

dkachur (618), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jul 17, 2008 Bottle from my Secret Santa. Thanks! Copper-tinged red w/ a medium head. Biig malt aroma with spicy hops, dark fruits and toffee. Delicate tea and grain taste that finishes with a caramel sweetness. Subtle off flavors (ammonia, chlorine). Smooth, medium body. alexsdad06 (554), Ohio, USA Jul 4, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small diminishing white head. The aroma is caramel malt, lightly toasted grains, and light fruity hops. The flavor is more roasted than the nose indicated. Roasted caramel malts, light fruit (plum/prune), mild bitterness, and toffee. Medium bodied fairly easy to drink. MaltOMeal (222), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA Jul 4, 2008 12oz bottle courtesy of Brad. This pours a dark amber with an off-white head. The nose is of malt, bread, spice and banana. Taste is of malt and spice. Very nice! Mouthfeel is watery with carbonation and slightly bitter. Imaena (160), Portland, Maine, USA Jul 1, 2008 Draught @ Celtic Swell on Alkai beach West Seattle.
copper/amber pour with bitter malt aroma. Good session beer with reasonable dryness and restrained hopping. Viscous finish that sits well with the residual sweetness. Great price. scooter_bub (135), Lander, Wyoming, USA Jun 28, 2008 Bottle. Pours a red-brown color with a large tan head that slowly fades. Aroma is malty, with hints of caramel, hops and is slightly sweet. The taste is much the same and has a dry finish. Overall, this is a pretty enjoyable brew at a fair price that is worth revisiting. Also, as with most of their beers, the label is pretty neat looking.
