| A Dunkler Bock brewed by Alaskan Brewing Co Juneau, Alaska USA
| |
JoeMcPhee (3899), Jackson Heights, New York, USA May 25, 2004 Updated: May 26, 2004 Had on tap at the Red Onion in Skagway, AK. Dark copper coloured beer with a thin tan-coloured head. Sour cherry aroma over a rich sweet maltiness. Flavour was also very malty and slightly bready. Fruit is obvious especially dark cherries, plum, and prune. Some nuttiness is also obvious is this. Very little bitterness and the finish was slightly warming. Well-done.
