Very standard ESB which might win you something at a competition, but I expected better from my first taste of this brewery I had heard so much about.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Tejas (762) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 16, 2007
Good appearance and good head retention.Good creamy palate but unfortunately, lacks flavor. This could be much better than it is.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 bhensonb (7125) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 27, 2007
Aroma of floral hop and malt. Seems balanced. Red copper color with a light beige head. It seems to lace. As the glass approaches the nose, the malt aroma dominates. A strong carbonation. Then roasted, but not dark, malt overwhelms things. Ends a bit watery and malty sweet. But when the malty sweetness drains away, there is some noticeable hop bitterness. I don’t think it’s balanced, but there is interplay.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 BrewDad (3384) - Olympia, Washington, USA - APR 24, 2007
12oz Bottle
A good golden color with a nice head, A decent hoppy aroma with a slight bready maly nose. Misses the ESB style but the beer was good to drink, For a bitter it was too light int he bitter flavor. Needs work on the bitter end. Ouch did I say that.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 AdamGott (238) - Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA - APR 21, 2007
excellent hop and malt balance. a little too hoppy for esb style. pours a nice ruby/copper color with little head. very nice beer but not to style. it would probably get killed in a competition due to this.
