Loved it, what is there I can say. One of the best ESB’s I have tried, but still deosn’t compare to england bitters.

Pours a dark brown, almost copperish, with a tan head. Aroma of citrus, hops, honey, and roasted malts. Flavor is earthy, with caramel and toasted malt. Nice balance of hops on the finish.

Nice copper amber color. Head disappeared quickly. Orange on the aroma, very smooth going down. Sweetness on the tale end of the finish. I haven’t liked many ESB’s, but this I would come back to readily. Poured this from a bottle I brought back from a trip to Alaska. Seemed to travel well.

on Tap Hamilton’s. Wet pallete and rmid bodied ale with a nice rich auburn color and great head retention. Biscuit, caramel and a crisp dry hop finish. A really good ESB

After being pleasantly surprised by other Alaskan offerings, I was let down by this rather bland bitter.

Good stuff. My family went on vacation to Alaska, I stayed home and worked. This was my consolation, and let me tell you, I feel better already. Absolutely gorgeous deep red color with a nice tan head. Smells hoppy. "Bitter" is a harsh word, really. I would say instead that it’s sweet and hoppy, with a wonderful, yummy fullness. Hmmm... only five left.

A strong but not overpowering taste, a pleasant, a sweet caramel aroma. A Pleasant ESB with a pleasant lasting taste.
