good combo of hops in here. not quite as much of them as I’d prefer as it’s a little too malt heavy, but a decent sessionable pale.

Mild and mellow with only a touch of bitterness in the background. The malts and hops are even with a mild citrus tang at the end ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Transfer from BA review on 12-6-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a reddish tinted amber color with a big billowy white head. The head has a decent level of retention, slowly fading over time as big bubbles within the foam head pop, leaving a lighter level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is strongest of a hoppy smell mixed with a rather strong sweet fruity nature. The hop is mainly of a grapefruit smell, but has other aromas of lemon with some floral notes there as well. The fruity flavors, like the hop, are largely citrus in nature as well with lots of tangerine and orange. Along with the citrus however, so to comes some caramel along with a little bit of a biscuit malt and roasted smell, overall producing a rather nicely balanced smell. Taste – The taste begins with a very light level of citrus sweetness and a nice biscuit and bready flavor. Some light caramel sweetness is present upfront as well, but this flavor fades rapidly as the taste advances from the start. While the caramel fades, hop flavors of a grapefruit flavor really start to kick in. Some lemon flavors also come to the tongue as well as a bit of a roasted and grainy taste. Some herbal and flowery hop tastes then join the flavor profile at the end of the taste, and with a bit of a dwindling of the citrus sweetness, one is left with a rather moderately hopped and sweet grainy biscuit flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the averages to slightly thicker side in terms of thickness and creaminess for a brew of 5.3 % abv with a carbonation level that is average. Both were quite appropriate for the style with the slightly thicker body of the brew nicely accentuating the moderately hopped flavor of the brew. Overall – An all right APA with a decent level of hoppiness and a slightly drier and more biscuity taste.

Nice hints of burnt caramel, and good hop profile. Flavour doesn’t last too long, but very enjoyable.

Draft at the Seattle taproom at SEA. Pours a clear, orange color with an OK white head. Not much in the aroma to be honest. Some hops but that is it. Light, watery taste. Some hops, but no finish or much in the flavor. It may be an old keg. Seems more like a session beer. Would probably be good on a hot day!

Orange pour with a creamy white head and lace. Aroma is light caramel malt with a touch of citrus hops. Flavor is lightly sweetened malt with a nice floral/citrus flavor. Medium bodied with a bit foamy carbonation and a light medium hop bitter. pretty nice pale ale

Hazy gold pour with a 1 finger off white head. Aroma is sweet caramel and crystal malts, biscuit, floral and citrus hops. Flavor is sweet crystal malt up front, biscuit, lemony and sweet orange hops and a little tart tree fruit. Lightish body with a creamy, but slightly chalky entry, light to medium carbonation and off dry, slightly juicy finish. Tasty stuff, could have done without so much Crystal malt sweetness, .
