3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 20, 2014 Pours a somewhat hazy golden orange and has a one finger white foamy head, slightly clingy light foamy lacing, leaves some rings goin’ down; the aroma has a strong sort of strong citrus, pine and floral aromas up front, just a tad of peppery spiciness that seems to be combined just right with a slight maltiness, I’m impressed; the flavoring is mainly bitter and spicey, sweet citrus aftertaste, zesty orange dry finish; its pretty easy on the palate and somewhat sessionable, carbonation seems adequate for the style and perhaps just a bit sharper than most APA’s for me, still enjoyable; overall, it has what it takes to be a pretty well done APA that can hang with the best of them, well worthy of buying again

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Aroma is moderate high amount of floral and pine hops. A little wet wheat in the background. Color is orange and is clear with an off white head that lingers. Citrus hops dominate with the back palate showing that resiny, funk from Citra. Saltine cracker from mid palate on. Mouthfeel is medium-thin and a little watery with a moderate bitter finish. Pretty nice offering.

Pours a bronze color with a nice head. Aroma of pine, bit of citrus and malt sweetness and herbal. Taste of pine, bit of fruit with a mild malt sweetness. Nice bitterness with a clean finish. Fairly medium body, crisp and refreshing. An enjoyable beer, easy drinker.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Nose is actually pretty hoppy with some resin tones to it. Taste has just a hint of bitterness to it, but manages to be a clean easy drink. Not a complex beer, but enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
courtesy of Jürg Kohler - light hazy amber-bronze beer with a modest foam left; correct lacing though; resiney hoppiness, notes of berries and pine needles; hints of tea; assertive and light astringent, a decent malt backbone and a subtle yet fair carbonation; quite bitter and with a long piney and resiney hoppiness in the finish again

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Nice floral on the nose. Thin body. Hay, cider essence on the tounge with reasonable hop characteristics. Pretty uninteresting.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a 10% turbid dulled by sunshine copper color, 2 mm head formed that comprised mostly of small bubbles tried it’s very best to lace upon the vessel with much dismay, aroma of citrus, lime, pine, and some honeydew. Hits the mouth with a high-medium body, malt isn’t drowned in caramel (whew!) but it’s still there, middle holds up well, finish is has some light orange and pine intertwined. A bit one note, but still great.

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Beautiful beer. Very nice ale with stronger hops presence while maintaining balance with some sweetness of the malt. Very nice complexity. Will enjoy often.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance was clear orangish gold with diminishing white creamy 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are dank, pineapple, melon, orange, grapefruit with slight pale, crystal malts and clean yeasts profile. Taste are hop of citrus of grapefruit, pine, pineapple, melon then light pale sweetness. Palate are soft smooth CO2 with light-meduim body, lasting citrusy piney clean yeast bitterness of a finish. A easy drinking pale with interesting hop combo.
