12oz in Washington. Juicy orange, small foam. Soft juicy hop, balanced bitter. Clean and smooth. Could use a touch more sharpness.

Drinking from the bottle. The nose is floral with a little citrus. The taste is sweet potpourri and rose petals. There is a slight warm taste in the finish that is syrupy. Love it.

Pale amber pour. Nose of pine and mild citrus with candied-malt. Flavor is pine bitterness and citrus with a mild caramel malt backbone. Well-balanced and a super-easy drink. Not flashy, but quite good.

Bottle from beer fridge; brought home and drink during Sherlock. Pours a clear orange with thick and sticky head. Nice floral / hop nose. Smoother taste than the nose predicts. Detect a hint of chalk ? as well as definite grapefruit. Very tasty. ---Rated via iPad

Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear orange copper with a thin white head and some spotty lacing in the glass, aroma has some slight citrus and pine but is pretty tame overall, same with the flavor, slight hop front end with a little bit of sweetness in the finish, the citrus or hops really donít come through all that much, wondering if itís a little old by the time it hits Wisconsin, had this several times and have never really been impressed by it.

This is a pretty beer. Pours with intensely thick white head, and itís body is a sparkling clear deep golden with light-orange highlights. The initial aroma tells you that it is an American pale ale, but upon closer inspection it is much more than basic citrus, definitely not dank, thereís a wonderful sweet tropical fruit note, lychee fruits, lemon, light pine, tangerine. Flavor is clean, touches of crystal malt donít play a major role, the hop flavor takes on a quenching step and plays along with a slightly toasty malt flavor. The tropical note runs all along through the finish which is nicely dry. This is an absolutely fantastic American pale ale and because of the characteristics of new hop varieties, this beer reflects what the new standard should be.

Appearance: slight haze, beau rifle bronze color, pours with an off white head, bar pour so hard to tell how the head really pours Aroma: grass, pine, assertive if simple, smells good but kind of faint Taste: very light malt, high hop flavor, pine, citrus, grass, kind of low on bitterness for all the hop flavor Palate: lively carbonation, slightly grassy and bitter aftertaste, lighter mouthfeel Overall: this is an awesome hoppy beer, malt gets out of the way for the assertive hop flavor to shine thru, definitely get it if you can, my kind of beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Backlog) 12 oz bottle. The look is hazy, copper colored, sediment, and a decent off white head. The smell is hops, slight pine, fruit mostly orange with some pink grapefruit, and solid. The taste is pine, hops, fruits, and decent.
