Pours a golden orange with a foamy caramel white head. Smells of sweet citrus, pine, and some malt and mild spice. Flavor is sweet citrus and malt with some bitter hops and biscuit malt notes. Solid but nothing exceptional.

Bottle. Pours a copper color with a medium off-white head. Aroma is of nice grassy hops, and some sappy aromas. Flavor is moderately bitter with some mild sweetness. Feels nice in the mouth, but there is a slight harshness in the finish. Good effort, but a little misaligned.

12oz bottle. Thanks to robotopera for bringing this back for me from Michigan. Best by 110414. Clear orange amber color. Thin light khaki head. Leaves decent thicker lace. Smooth, kind of soft moderate strength carbonation. Grassy resiny light grapefruity hop, caramel and toasty malt. Good, but kind of mild. Moderate bitter taste, kind of spicy, lighter sweet. Solid balanced kind of soft pale ale.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. The label lists the abv at 5.3 % abv. Appearance: The body has a nice orange amber color with great clarity. It has a small slightly off white head that slowly settles. As it settles it makes some nice lacing on the glass. Smell: The aroma has citrusy grapefruit like hops over light bready sweetness. As I drink I notice some very light peach and orange peel notes as well. Taste / Palate: It has the good drinkable medium body with a nice balance of hops and malt. The edge favors hops and it has nice citrusy notes running through out. The base is a sweet bready and lightly caramelized maltiness.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A nice soft floral and citrus nose. The flavor is more floral hops, medium toasted malts, a bit of late strong citrus. Clean and good.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 10/23/2014. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy bright orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, light pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt balance; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, light pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, light pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice robustness and complexity of citrus/tropical hops and balanced bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. The hop flavors in the taste were not as bright as the aromas. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good American pale ale. Good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Nice aroma of citrus fruit and fresh cut grass notes. Nice deep orange in color. White head. Rich sweet malt up front. Citrus comes though, lemon and grassy, then bitterness comes in. Fairly mild bitterness, finishes with with same citrus tone. Light to medium mouth feel and the bitterness lingers just a bit.

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Clear amber brew with dense head. LIght aroma of citrus. Taste is clean and dry with modest citrus tones. Very light on the tongue and refreshing.
