A very tasty and appealing American Pale Ale from Alaskan Brewing Company. I would happily have another.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
courtesy of Jürg Kohler - light hazy amber-bronze beer with a modest foam left; correct lacing though; resiney hoppiness, notes of berries and pine needles; hints of tea; assertive and light astringent, a decent malt backbone and a subtle yet fair carbonation; quite bitter and with a long piney and resiney hoppiness in the finish again

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Nice floral on the nose. Thin body. Hay, cider essence on the tounge with reasonable hop characteristics. Pretty uninteresting.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a 10% turbid dulled by sunshine copper color, 2 mm head formed that comprised mostly of small bubbles tried it’s very best to lace upon the vessel with much dismay, aroma of citrus, lime, pine, and some honeydew. Hits the mouth with a high-medium body, malt isn’t drowned in caramel (whew!) but it’s still there, middle holds up well, finish is has some light orange and pine intertwined. A bit one note, but still great.

Pour from bottle in Costa Mesa, CA. Pours deep golden with good off white head. Tastes a bit like citrus, malty. Just ok.

Beautiful beer. Very nice ale with stronger hops presence while maintaining balance with some sweetness of the malt. Very nice complexity. Will enjoy often.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance was clear orangish gold with diminishing white creamy 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are dank, pineapple, melon, orange, grapefruit with slight pale, crystal malts and clean yeasts profile. Taste are hop of citrus of grapefruit, pine, pineapple, melon then light pale sweetness. Palate are soft smooth CO2 with light-meduim body, lasting citrusy piney clean yeast bitterness of a finish. A easy drinking pale with interesting hop combo.

Bottle from StefanSD, many thanks. Orange golden color with medium white head. Aroma of oranges, orange zest, grapefruit, malt. Taste, short malty base followed by nice kick of aromatic hops. Long hoppy finish. Good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Std appearance a light golden pour wit ha small loose white head. Aroma had a hint of lemon zest a touch of spruce tree. Avg palate. Clean crisp hop taste mostly light citrus and lemon zest and a hint of a spice I can’t quite place. Overall a sessionable beer, good, but lacking any real substance that defines it uniquely. I could sit and sip this with most anything.

On tap @ Barrelhouse 101. Orange pour with a white head. Nose is bread, orange peel, floral hops, and toast. Nice sweetness, and a touch of fruits. Flavor is quite sweet. Big toast and bread character. Slight herbal tang. Lots of orange, flowers, and a subtle pine note. Mild bitterness on the finish.
