3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ Slater’s 50/50 Anaheim. Light amber/dark orange pour with white foam. Kind of a sticky caramel aroma to this. Lots of pine and resin, sort of herbal as well. There’s some orange zest and pith, too. Flavor is fairly bitter and resinous. Very pine forward. Sticky brown sugar and caramel sweetness. Maybe a bit of booze. Not my favorite.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured a sunset orange with a medium lively head. Nose is pure hops, piney and citrus. In the mouth, the hops are present but very nicely balanced. Alcohol well hidden.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a bright orange color with a foamy white head. It has that strong medicinal hop nose. It still has a nice citrus aroma. A fine citrus juicy flavor and mouthfeel. A smooth overall consistency. Quite the unique characteristic in the flavor. It’s a little different. The fruit juice is very prominent. The abv is masked very well. A nice IPA.

Extremely hoppy start with some pine and slight citrus flavor. Strong alcohol bite on this one. Pours deep orange with a tech white head. Had a bottle pour at home.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Forgot to rate this, but remember it being a nice almost double IPA that was nicely balanced but didn’t have anything that wowed. Will try again when i get the chance and re-rate.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pint at Ginger Man Austin. Hazy gold amber, good solid white head. Pine nose, blood orange and pithy stuff happening. Taste gives good resin and needle pine mix, light caramel, some spruce, deeper orange notes, grapefruit kick. Fairly juicy orange finish. Pithy and pine bitterness. Booze well integrated. Yeah, decent.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle, thanks to Ed. The aroma is citrusy, pine, floral, American Hop dominated, there is a slight caramel malty note. The caramel is more noticeable in the flavor, citrusy hops and pine notes as well.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled at Northgate Tasting. Meh... not much aroma. Mediocre taste. I expect more from this style, this ABV, and even this brewery.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange/Bronze in color, head quick to dissapate. Loads of pine, resin in aroma. Slight orange as well. Lighter body than appearance would suggest, pine bitterness throughout. Finishes kind of soapy. Not very complex hop profile, but solid IPA.
