3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from The Bier Stein in Eugene. Pine, caramel, herbs. Copper/orange color with a thick off-white head. Heavy caramel initial, grapefruit. Flavors level off in mid palate and final. Some alc. warmth. Heavy, near sticky, body. Overall, pretty good. Doesn’t have the continuing knockout flavors that many imperials do.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a golden orange color with a nice white head. Aroma is floral and ciitrus hops. The taste is well balanced hops and sticky sweet malts but unfortunately there is also a skunky off-taste that reminds me of wheat gone bad. Not sure if I just got a bad glass of this stuff or if it always tastes like this. It was pretty good otherwise but the off-taste ruined it for me.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, hazy golden-orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange, caramel, toffee, hints of grass into a bit of earth, pretty sweet smelling. Taste is a mix of orange, grapefruit, hints of grass into a bit of caramel, toffee, slight spice, finishing bitter. Just ok.

Bitter and boozy, highly carbonated. Orange peel and grain then powerful hops take over. Alaskas Most daring.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Stamped: 8042514. Copper pour with a foamy cream colored head. The aroma is of floral and pine hops with a biscuit malt character buried down below. The body is light to medium. The taste is also quite bitter with floral hops. It is very typical of about hundred other IPA’s in its class.
