Tap @ Black Bottle in Fort Collins. Pours a fairly clear, orange appearance with a cream colored head. Somewhat spicy resiny hoppy, piney, orange fruity, a bit toasty malty aroma. Somewhat spicy hoppy flavor with notes of tangerine, toasty malty, and herbs. Light booze on the finish. Not bad.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 bb (5888) - Alamo, California, USA - APR 16, 2013
Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light summer fruit aroma. Earth and summer fruit flavor with light grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Summer fruit and earth linger with light grapefruit and light pine.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 after4ever (5279) - Brier, Washington, USA - NOV 28, 2012
Draft at SB. Pours a clear dark amber with a dense and creamy tan head that definitely sticks around. Nice fresh piney nose with some sweet tangerine undertones behind. Great soft and sweet combination, but shows some forward power. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast and caramel on the mid palate with bright crisp pine and citrus fruit over that. Clean refreshing finish. So cool to see Alaskan stretching its legs with more new recipes now and then.

I thought this was excellent. Definitely strong but has a great hop flavor with a lot of late grapefruit. Quite tasty.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mcberko (4046) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 9, 2012
On tap at Chuck’s 85th St. Market, pours a hazy copper orange with a small beige head. Aroma of rich resinous hops, tropical fruitiness and a big caramel malt backbone. Flavour is similar, with loads of fruity, resinous hops and a whopping caramel malt backbone. Well-balanced, with a big malt backing to go with the high hops. Great stuff, but a tad sweet due to the big malt backbone.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 BillKismet (3000) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 8, 2012
Golden bronze with a nice head. Rather hop-skunky nose. Dank beer body with a harsh bitter current. Like a swilly dive bar beer mixed with an Imperial IPA. I wish they would bring back their ESB.
