Little but pleasant aroma. Served in a tulip glass with an appealing visual. Taste is better than expected for this brewery. Hop is balanced well with a sweet ending. A good representation of a double IPA.

On tap. Pours a slightly hazy light-amber, good carbonation, and decent head. Big hop aroma, piney piney piney, yellow citrus, and a bit of gooseberry. Flavor is big hops up front and then smooth and sweet malt. Slight biscuit character, finishes with a smooth bitterness and dryness. Alcohol is well-hidden and it never comes across as ’hot’. Clean lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Very good.

Hops. Slightly hazy gold with lasting frothy off white head. Lovely lace. No visible carbonation. First sip of a very cold beer is very favorable with a nice Bready finish. Strong. Very solid double iPA. One of the better Alaskan beers I’ve had.
