Aroma good, appearance golden with pretty bubbles in the pint. Just the right amout of foam that lasted through conversation. Mild hoppiness. Bartender said it was one of those she could drink six of then finally realize how drunk she was. I agree thanks to the subtle but effective 8.6. Rad beer!

Deep orange pour. Pillowy head. Earthy citrus on the nose. Big fruit and red licorice in the flavor - strange (somehow really good) layer before/over the citrus hops. Fades to dry orange pith. Deep, flavorful, strange. I like....?

sonnycheeba (4281) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 22, 2015
Bomber. Pours clear amber. Aroma is caramel and bready malts, light toast, floral notes, and some tropical fruit. Flavor is very well balanced with nice fruity hop character and a solid malt profile that dries things out and adds a touch of caramel sweetness; smooth, subtle hop notes carry through the finish. Medium body.

Poured from the bomber into a snifter. Dark amber with a cream colored head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt with some light breadiness, and mostly resinous hop notes. Flavor is similar with some bready malt character up front, some mild sweetness, and a lot of resinous hops. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky mouthfeel and a long finish. Pretty well balanced and very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours clear amber. Large off white head. Big hoppy aroma of pine and fruit. Flavor of pine and caramel. Decently balanced. Strong lacing. Decent beer. I bet it would be better on tap.

HKdIPA (467) - HONG KONG - AUG 2, 2015
Bottle while delayed at DTW post Moorpylz wedding. Translucent amber pour. Aroma is some pine hops, with some other more fruity flavors mixed in. Taste is more simply pine hops with big malt to balance. Not bad DIPA but wouldn't get again.

Bottle sample at Beer&Beyond shop. Clear orange golden color. Smell of caramel, toasted malt and mild fruity hops. Sweet, malty, flavors of bread, honey and peach, strong hoppy bitterness , quite boozy. Medium bodied, smooth. Too heavy and alcoholic.

Bottle. Pours thick with a small diminishing head. Aroma of American hops and faint caramel. Flavor is thick, juicy, bitterness to balance the gravity. Alcohol is well hidden. Finish is toasty but, disappointingly, not bitter.

Pours a medium coppery amber with a big three finger cream colored head with good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, particularly pineapple, melons, citrus and piney hops. Flavor is bready malt, thick tropical and orange family citrus juice, citrus and pine hops. Well balanced. Heavy bodied with an excellent creaminess. A pleasant, IIPA that leaves a nice lingering piney and citrus hop afterglow.
