Aroma good, appearance golden with pretty bubbles in the pint. Just the right amout of foam that lasted through conversation. Mild hoppiness. Bartender said it was one of those she could drink six of then finally realize how drunk she was. I agree thanks to the subtle but effective 8.6. Rad beer!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Clear copper pour with a small foamy head that fades to a nice film and ring. Aroma is caramel malt and stale, grassy hops. Tastes the same. Light malty sweetness and moderate bitterness. Tastes like noble hops but not fresh. Possibly old bottle? Canít more than a couple months. Boring DIPA.

I was expecting a heavy hitter. Not really tasting the hoppiness. Itís a pretty tame IPA considering itís name.

Piney hops control the nose. Beautiful dark amber pour with a thin white head. Bitter grapefruit and caramelized sugar compete for your taste buds. Palate is medium bodied. Overall, a wonderful double. This will definitely be in the fridge in the future.

Bottle. Copper color. Not much aroma. Bitter, malty, not a lot of hop flavor for something with "hop" in its name. Just okay for a double IPA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Copper amber color with a small, creamy off white head. Aroma of orange peels and herbal hops. Taste is tart citrus with a touch of bready malt and bitter resiny hops that fade into a long medicinal finish. In the high side of medium bodied but with a pretty lively carbonation. Itís a pretty good IPA

2/11/15 nice piney aroma. Copper colored. A bit too much bitter aftertaste for me. Can definitely taste the alcohol.

Bottle. Clearish caramel orange-brown body, thin off-white/cream head. Bitter, lots of candied citrus peel and citrus resins; berries, toast, caramel. Complex and rich. Very good.
