Aroma good, appearance golden with pretty bubbles in the pint. Just the right amout of foam that lasted through conversation. Mild hoppiness. Bartender said it was one of those she could drink six of then finally realize how drunk she was. I agree thanks to the subtle but effective 8.6. Rad beer!

Bottle. Deep orange, dense white head. Aroma has some citrus pith and grass. The hops are quite astringent on the palate, citrus rind but with a slight medicinal quality. Malts are sweet. Finishes with aspirin bitterness. Disappointing.

Pours amber, lots of head and lots of lacing. Aromas of peach, grapefruit and syrup. Tastes medium bitter, medium/light sweet. Mouth had lively carbonation, full sticky body. Quite malty.

ARH (776) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 24, 2015
12oz bottle poured into a shaker. The aroma is a bright, citrus sweetness with a floral grassiness. The beer is lightly hazy and amber colored with a whipped, off-white/eggshell head that has an abundant retention and a good lace. The beer is a medium high bitter with a medium sweet thatís slightly more up-front bitter and a sweet finish. The beer is smooth and syrupy with a creamy carbonation and a medium body that hits the palate with toast and marmalade flavors as well as some grass. The finish is zesty and grassy with a slightly burnt note that strentghens as it warms, along with a bitter citrus that blends into the aftertaste thatís floral with a sweet tangerine hint.

Light amber with decent head. Smells of floral hops and something bit pungent. There is an odd bitterness to this one that doesnít make it too appealing but it is drinkable non the less. So yes it does have a good ABV it also has a high price tag that makes me say no to getting more.

b3shine (6377) - Indiana, USA - APR 17, 2015
Draft to pint. Looks solid; a transparent paler burnt orange with foamy eggshell head. Smells like a bitter malt bomb. Tastes malty, but the hop profile is fruitier. Mouthfeel is medium to medium full-bodied. Not bad, and tastes better than it smells.

Great beer for almost anyone, even if you don't like IPA's have introduced many to this beer and many have said its one of their favorites. Problem is it is a harder beer to find but well worth it because it is a gem. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

not a bad price for the style but still more than a normal 6-pack beer without being any better. Crisp hoppy aroma but also a little biscuit, which I donít like. Iíd say above average beer, below average IIPA.

Bottle. Clear copper pour with a small foamy head that fades to a nice film and ring. Aroma is caramel malt and stale, grassy hops. Tastes the same. Light malty sweetness and moderate bitterness. Tastes like noble hops but not fresh. Possibly old bottle? Canít more than a couple months. Boring DIPA.
