Smooth. Bitter. Strong grapefruit after taste. Very dry finish. Another one and done. Too rich for drinking all night.

A bit one dimensional for a DIPA: from the aroma through the taste and to the finish, it was mostly dry, pine/resin bitterness with a long, bitter finish. The alcohol is pretty well hidden. Overall, the taste was more of a typical NW IPA than a DIPA. But if you want your bitter/hoppy IPA experience with more alcohol, this is your beer.

12 oz pour from chilled bottle into tulip. Orange, hazy, nice foamy head. Nose is bitter, citrus, a little pine, a little resin. Full body, sticky. Taste is mild up front with a strong bitter finish. Pine and resin throughout with undertones of orange. Not quite as complex as I like my DIPAs, but not bad by any stretch

From bottle. Clear Orange pour with a small white head. Very fruity aroma. Taste is less intense and too easy to drink - not as big as expected for an imperial. A bit of caramel and rather dry. Not at all boozy. Medium and slick mouthfeel.

Copper color with a long lasting off-white head. Piney-citrus aroma. Full-bodied and hoppy with a sweet malt background.

An interesting g aroma of hops, fruit and citrus. Pours a clear gold color with moderate carbonation and a lasting white well laced head. Tastes of fruit, citrus and hops. Medium body dry mouth, bitter hops finish.

Copper pour with average sized white head. Nose is big with pine and citrus. Flavor has a great pine hop punch with some notes of citrus. Has a little bitterness, but good malt balance.

For a Imperial IPA I don’t get any boozy ness. Malty and sweet. If you want a sweeter smoother double this is an good one.

Bomber. Malty nose, pine, oranges, caramel. Glowing orange-amber color with a low, fine head. Sweet, slightly boozy flavor of oranges, biscuits, pine, something like orange sorbet. Nice fruitiness.

Hop Thermia 8.5% Bomber shared by KyotoLefty. A deep orange-coper pour with a light beige filmy head of foam. The aroma is very fruity hops with a bit of dankness and caramel. Very sweet pine and fruits while solid it doesn’t stand out in any way.

Medium gold-amber pour with a billowing slightly-off white head - ample lacing left in its wake. Aroma is primarily resinous hops...some citrus notes mixed in there along with some spicy notes and something that’s odd, but I can’t put my finger on it. Generally good, but not all-in at this point. Flavor is very bitter...resinous, dank hops dominate...doesn’t have the malt backbone I was expecting. Some grapefruit hints, but again, not what I was expecting. Medium to heavy body for the style...this drinks like its ABV, if not more. Kind of ’meh’ on this one...far from ’bad’, but not quite good either!
