On tap. Pours a deep amber color with a clear body. Notes of burnt bread, fresh orange citrus, brown sugar, and earth. Not all that complex. Alcohol is well hidden.

Solid beer....very easy smooth drinking...a little more hop flavor would make this really good.

Clear gold. White head with lots of lace. Loads of fruity hops, honeyed malts, very light bitterness. Quite tasty and very easy to drink.

Tap. Slightly hazy amber pour with a nice lasting off white head. Really nice tropical fruit, peach, pine, and caramel aroma. Taste is resin, pine, and grapefruit. Bitterness dominates and makes it a little one note. Lasting pine aftertaste. Medium body.

12 ounce bottle into snifter, best before 10/29/2014. Pours lightly hazy deep orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with juicy citrus/tropical hop notes with moderate malt sweetness; and good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, caramel, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of resinous pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; with a nice crisp malt/bitterness balance and minimal cloying bitterness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice DIPA style. All around good complexity and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Awesome DIPA. Strong caramel malt backbone on aroma and flovor. But also, assertive hoopiness, citrus, grapefruit, flowers. The finish was lingering sweetness, pine, citrus. Medium/thick in body. Nice.

Decent, but lacking the overpowering hops and bitterness of a typical double IPA, in my opinion. Drinks more like an IPA. However, thats not a bad thing and the beer is still very good.

Muted hop aroma, with some alcohol. Dark, clear, amber color. Too much like many other DIPAs. Routine head.

From bottle. Not a very strong hop aroma. A bit floral, somewhat muted with candy sugar and some caramel and oxidation. Deep dark amber clear with haze, topped with creamy-foamy off-white lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts with caramel and biscuit, light oxidation, and muted floral but strong bitter hop character. Light alcohol sweetness. Finish is muted bitter with light sweet after. Perhaps it didn’t travel well.
