I thought this was excellent. Definitely strong but has a great hop flavor with a lot of late grapefruit. Quite tasty.

Slightly sweet with a clean piney finish. Nice copper color. Very fresh with nice lacing in the glass. Overall a very smooth and decisions DIPA.

Son let me just explain this beer. Big citrus blast upon opening, big citrus and pine ripe tropical fruit taste. Dry as hell. Malty balance. Just punches you in the mouth in the best way. This are insane good and for 8.5% abc you can’t even tell. Exceptional beer. Drink tons of these.

On tap at the Falling Rock in Denver. Copper with big layered head and lace. Floral hops and cantelope aroma. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of grassy hops, white grapefruit, sweet malts. Overall creamy, big in body, rich and tasty. Minimum if any cream of tartar or chalk...really a tasty batch.

On tap at Manito tap house. IBU: 70 Poured a golden raisin color with a etched surface of some light tans Smells like apricot and tangerines with some sweet malts, a good tangy nose. Taste follows suit with lots of fruit, lots of apricot, peach, tangerines and some crystal malts. There’s a touch of dank hops in the finish. Medium bodied with liberal carb and a nice semi dry finish that stimulates the salivary glands. Nice beer. Reminds me of duet from alpine Serving type: on-tap 12-09-2012

Aroma good, appearance golden with pretty bubbles in the pint. Just the right amout of foam that lasted through conversation. Mild hoppiness. Bartender said it was one of those she could drink six of then finally realize how drunk she was. I agree thanks to the subtle but effective 8.6. Rad beer!

Little but pleasant aroma. Served in a tulip glass with an appealing visual. Taste is better than expected for this brewery. Hop is balanced well with a sweet ending. A good representation of a double IPA.

Semi-hazy copper with a thin white head. Nose is pretty hop forward with leafy and piney hops mixing with some clementine and a little lupulin. Taste is well balanced for a DIPA, letting hops and malt take equal show. Flavor starts off with a resinous yet citric bite, blends into a kind of leafy quality, before a toasty and caramalt middle hang around while the hoppy acidity wears off. Finishes bitter and leafy, but not too acidic. This is the correct way to do DIPAs.

In comparison to other citrus/pine mega-IPA’s (e.g., Hopslam, Hoptimum) this one clocks in real nice with huge rich hoppiness, syrupy richness, but also dryness. It has no cloying sweet to muck it up. In fact, it is almost tart, and the different aspects wind up with all sorts of definition: fresh & zesty; spring woodland hoppy; bitingly alive. This is a stunning beer, but it is big, big, big, and bracing too.

Tap at WoB. Pours a clear copper color with a light head. Fantastic aroma. Super dank hops, drippy resiny hops with sweet citrus notes and glory. Flavor is fantastic. Super hoppy, resiny and awesome. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
