5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This is my favorite IPA hands down. Which is a shame because it's not a Michigan brew, and I'm really incredibly proud of all the great beers we produce here in the mitten state. It is my mission to find a Michigan beer that I like more than this. ☺

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Mostly clear full amber brown with thick frothy head. Cat piss bitter hop aromas. Hops and grain hit about the same time much smoother then expected but still full flavors. Lasting grainy hop left behind.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Poured from a bottle into an Alaskan Brewing pint glass. Aroma is of grass and straw, reminds me of a fall day. Appearance is a clear golden amber with a thick two finger creamy head that lingers through the session. Taste is a semi sweet grassy straw hop flavor with a slight bitterness at the finish. Overall well balanced. Palate is very good with a slight creaminess to it. Overall a great double IPA I’d stack up against any other. Well worth trying and I highly recommend this beer. Cheers!

I thought this was excellent. Definitely strong but has a great hop flavor with a lot of late grapefruit. Quite tasty.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured from a bottle into a Alaska Brewing Pilot Series Pint glass a golden orange with a white head that laced beautifully down the side of the glass as the brew was drained.
Aroma is slight sweet grasses (smile)
Flavor is better than aroma. Resin grass with a citrus bitter finish. Smooth. Extremely drinkable. Balanced flavor like so few can do. Outstanding!

Son let me just explain this beer. Big citrus blast upon opening, big citrus and pine ripe tropical fruit taste. Dry as hell. Malty balance. Just punches you in the mouth in the best way. This are insane good and for 8.5% abc you can’t even tell. Exceptional beer. Drink tons of these.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 08.18.14.
A: Orange, grapefruit, and lemon.
A: 1 1/2 finger head. See through amber body.
T: Orange, grapefruit, and lemon dominate. Slight spice and hop resin are subtle.
P: Creamy. Great carbonation.
O: This was a very citrusy IIPA with a malt backbone. It reminded me of Fresh Squeezed.

Great beer for almost anyone, even if you don't like IPA's have introduced many to this beer and many have said its one of their favorites. Problem is it is a harder beer to find but well worth it because it is a gem.
