COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

0.355 l bottle at Stockholm Beer Festival 2009. Orange color. The aromas of juicy hops with orange and apricot. Orange-apricot hop flavor with toffee. The bitterness is firm but could be still stronger. Pleasant easy IPA.

Of all the Alaskan beers I’ve had, this is probably the best. Compared to their pale, you’d think it came from a different brewery. It has a more fuller body and a great aroma, a golden yellow color and nice white head. Clean, hoppy flavor and refreshingly good.

From the tap poured amber with a good amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a lingering finish.

Orange color, small white head. Orange, bready aroma. Bready malty, orange-hoppy (fruity) flavor. A bit sweet aftertaste, late bitterness. Basic IPA which is maybe almost APA.

6 pack from MCAS Miramar Marine Mart: Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is lightly grassy citrus and pine. Flavor starts fruity sweet with citrus followed by a sweet, semi-dry grapefruit bitter finish. Medium body is creamy with moderate carbonation.

Decent aroma, fairly smooth. Nothing spectacular, but very drinkable. Drinking from a bottle now...tasted much better right off the line at the brewery in Juneau. Great little tasting room if anyone makes it that far up.

From a 12 oz bottle. Pours a light golden color which frankly scared me because it is advertised as an IPA. Aroma was piney hops. Head diisappeared quickly. No lacing to speak of. Taste was definitely hops - I’d say more on the piney side than citrus as advertised. There is a finishing taste that I can’t quite put my finger on but all in all, not bad. Decent IPA.
