Hazy honey gold. Floral hop aroma. Bitter floral hops are prominent. Notes of white grapefruit and honey. Balanced by sweet caramel malt. Hard to say anything bad about it.

Hazy golden pour with a moderate sticky white head. Aroma is primarily citrus with some light malt notes in the background. Taste is grapefruit with a bit of floral and some sweet malt as well. Not overly bitter. Light mouthfeel and quite easy drinking.

Bottled. Poured medium golden with a sticky wheat head. The aroma picked up pine and grapefruity hoppage over sweet caramel malts.. not very hoppy, but pleasant. The flavor found sweet caramel and lesser bready malt at the core, with grapefruit zest around.. tangy finish with some residual bitterness. Light-medium bodied with rolling carbonation across the middle.. decent balance, feel, and flow.. aiight stuff.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Reimer96 (594) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 21, 2013
Pours a clear orangish amber with a small white heads that leaves little lacing. Big Aroma of citrus, pine, grass & even some fruity esthers. Taste is citrus, reisony & piney hops flavors with a rather higher bitterness standing out. Overall the hop flavor is a little harsh as the hop to malt balance is a little high.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 andrewturba (456) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 17, 2013
Pours a clear golden colour with pretty big initial white head that fades quickly to a thin white top and big ring around the glass leaving some good lace up the glass. Aromas are citrus, floral, sorta fruity. Flavour is citrus, resinous pine, floral, fruity, low toasted malt profile, medium-high bitterness and a dry finish.

Quite dissapointing actually with a mild hop and a bit of caramel sweetness. Just a mellow little hopped pale ale with a hint of pine and resin. A mild caramel malt and an easy drinkability.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 backdaft (139) - Menasha Red Light District, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 31, 2012
Bottle. Pours a light gold/orange color. Nice 2 finger head dissapates quickly leaving just a bit of retention. Intense floral citrus aromas dominate here (the best part IMHO). Taste is grapefruit bitterness with piney hops and biscuit like malt. Lightly carbonated with a light mouthfeel. A little bitter in the end. Quite drinkable IPA.
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 trumpetskid (95) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 28, 2012
Pours a nice hazy orange. Not much of an aroma. There is a bit of sweet citrus. It has a nice light, refreshing sweet citrus taste with a slight bitter finish. This reminds me a bit of Bell’s Two Hearted. A bit weaker in flavor and alcohol though. Regaurdless, it’s a pretty refreshing IPA
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 improvjock (290) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Bottle. Pours a clear gold with light off-white head that quickly disappears. Grapefruit and citrus in the aroma. Flavor is pretty well-balanced with piny hops, lemon, and light malts. Slight bitterness up front. Pretty good, very drinkable.
