In early 2014 Alaskan re-branded their IPA as Icy Bay IPA

The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

Hazy golden pour with a moderate sticky white head. Aroma is primarily citrus with some light malt notes in the background. Taste is grapefruit with a bit of floral and some sweet malt as well. Not overly bitter. Light mouthfeel and quite easy drinking.

Clear, radiant light orange amber with a frothy white head. Dry. Moderate bitterness. Not fruity. Comes across as kinda papery. Not my favorite. So many other more exciting options.

Pour is a hazy copper with a large white head. Aroma is a nice spicy hop with an equally nice caramel malt. Flavor is pretty much the same. Decent hop mouthfeel off the get go then comes a nice rich caramel malt. Not a hop bomb by a long stretch but this was a fine IPA.

Bottle. Slightly hazy pale yellow color. Diminishing head, nice lacing on the glass. Malt profile is mild, hops profile is clean and crisp, primarily floral and citrus. Finishes on a nice bright fruity note. A nice clean drinking IPA.

Super easy to drink, very light bitterness, very crisp and refreshing. Get some citrus and hops but not over powering. Not every IPA has to be a huge bitter bomb or have a malty tropical fruit taste, sometimes you want something tasty that goes down smooth without resorting to macro crap. Tastes great at 6.2% almost drinks like an APA or a session IPA with more alcohol. This is the first time I have tried this but would get again. Be a great summer while outside having a few beers IPA.

A very easy to drink ipa. Not too bitter, hoppy or malty. Has a slight bitter finish. Pours orange in color with white head. Had at home. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

For an IPA, it's not very hoppy. The bitterness is mild but has a great maltness. More malty than hoppy ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
