In early 2014 Alaskan re-branded their IPA as Icy Bay IPA

The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

pours hazy gold with a thickish off white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is slightly floral and sweet, indescript candy. Taste is crisp and bright. Not particularly bitter or super hoppy, but pleasant. Nice notes of the hops on the finish and nasal linger. A clean, enjoyable brew!

Aroma is citrus with a little malt backing, a little thin and just not as good as other west coast styles\cascade hopped ipa

Smooth and hoppy without being overpoweringly bitter. It's a little sweet for an IPA but not at all astringent.

Clear orange with a nice size head that lingers around. Lots of visual carbonation. Aroma of citrus and pine. Light body with a good amount of hop bitterness. The dry hopping balance to malt is excellent without over doing it. Clean crisp lingering hop finish.

Poured from a bomber into a beer can glass on 07.04.14. A: Grapefruit. Citrus. Malt. A: 1 finger head. See through golden yellow. T: Lemon, orange, and raspberry dominate. Flower, tangerine, and hop resin are subtle. P: Crisp. A little watery, but easy to drink. O: This is a somewhat subtle IPA. Some APAs are more hoppy, but this is good.

Clear, radiant light orange amber with a frothy white head. Dry. Moderate bitterness. Not fruity. Comes across as kinda papery. Not my favorite. So many other more exciting options.
