COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

Pours a light orange color with a white head. Aroma is caramel, and lots of bitter grassy hops. Flavor is light caramel and a grassy bitter hop finish.

[Tap] Pours a bright orange color with a pillow of white head. Sweet and fruity hop aroma includes orange and grapefruit. Lots of caramel malts balance the moderately bitter hoppiness. Creamy palate, but not particularily complex. Still a really drinkable IPA. Went great with the pizza I had with it.

Bomber with many thanks to gorditoabd. Pours a fairly light gold with a big sudsy head and decent aromas of floral hops, a bit of pineapple and a touch of mango. Flavor is mild and kind of soapy... not the explosion of hops that I was hoping for. To me, it seems like there is just not enough hops, and as it is, this comes off as a good IPA to ease someone in to the style.

Pretty mild stuff here. Light caramel malt sweetness with tinges of very minimal hop bite. Basically left me wanting more of everything...except this beer.

Pours a clear golden with lots of effervessence and a good billowy white head. Aroma is grassy with some nice citrus. I’ve had countless IPAs with grassy aromas, but I doubt I’ve ever had one with a grassy flavor, until now. Very earthy, wonderfully spicy with a very good hoppiness, but not without a strong malt backbone with a good grainyness. This is really a nice IPA, far better than I had expcected, if a bit one dimensional.

12oz bottle. Pours a crystal clear, pale golden body with a finger-width, foamy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a lot of nice lacing. Aroma is caramel and sweet, piney citrus. Same flavor with some honey in there as well. Impressive balance with lots of nice, soft caramels and easy on the palate piney hops. Slightly dry with a moderate bitter finish. Not as dry as some more intense IPAs. Palate is medium bodied and very quaffable. Overall, a nice, well balanced IPA. Very drinkable and a great session IPA.

Quite suprised to actually stumble on this beer while at BevMo. I’ve always seen Alaskan’s Stout, Amber, etc., so this was a nice change of pace. The beer poured out copperish/dark orange color, with a nice 3-finger thick off white head. The hop aroma was very floral, lots of citrusy oranges in it...easy to keep smelling this one as the citrus seems just so tangible with the aroma. You’d think if you look in the glass somewhere there oranges floating aroung. A medium bittered, citrus quality also runs across the palate, dragging with it the caramel hops. After several sips, a faint pine/grassy character emerges towards the swallow. Another really nice, highly drinkable beer from Alaskan.

Tap. Clear dark yellow pour with thin white head. Grainy aroma and taste. Not much else - pretty unimaginative.
