The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

Bottle. Really nice hoppy aroma. Almost crystal clear, light gold body with steady rising bubbles. Rare to find an IPA that is this clear and this light in color. Nice, hoppy IPA with a stand out finish. One of the better everyday IPAs available in the Twin Cities market

@ Great Alaskan Barleywine Festival ’06. Good nose, sweet. Pine, citrus, honey, caramel. Pale golden orange color. Bittersweet flavor, Citrus mainly little pine. Maybe some of the caramel. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, lite bitter finish. Good easy to drink IPA.

A soft cold pour produces a tall head that slowly subsides leaving sticky snail tracks and textbook lacing. Aromas of fresh cut citrus rind. Full nectar w/ low carbonation creating an almost oily texture. Wonderfully balanced and hop forward, the malt factors in perfectly never becoming sweet. Theres a tasty candy necklace component that peaks my interest. Fresh and fruity, bright and delicious. The finish is bittered well and lingers w/ fruit. A nice specimen on the mellow side.

Botle pours a crystal clear light yellow orange with a small lively white head that faded rather quickly. Very little IPA aroma. A little sweet maltiness and maybe a little fresh pine/grassines. Defiantly the sorriest excuse I have seen for an IPA so far. Flavor also is mostly light sweet malt. Slight hop bitterness, barely even enough to offset the remaining residual sugars. Which is not much. It’s like someone poured half my glass with Corona first. A little bitter bite at then end...but I think that is just the hops saying "SYCHE! ! " Not bad, per se’ just very disappointing.

12oz bottle from Lukas Liquors in Lone Tree. Pours golden with white head. Aroma is grassy hops, bready malts with light citrus. Flavor is citrus, hops, and some malt. Flavor is much more present than the aroma. Nice carbonation. Nothing speacial but cheers to my first beer from Alaska.

Had a lot higher hopes for this. Poured with a great, large, foamy, off white head that lasts a while and good lacing. Color is a clear dark yellow. Aroma is a mild blend of hop, caramel, malt. Flavor has nose and some wet cardboard. Body is good and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor and of short to medium length.
