Bottle. Thanks to cbkschubert for sending me this one. Poured a light copper body with thin head. Citrus hops in the nose with a small amount of grain. Flavor is lightly bitter, lightly hoppy, caramel. Light mouthfeel. Smooth. Enjoyable.

On draft. Darkish gold color with a hazy center. Plenty of hops in the aroma with a touch of sweet malt. Bitter, hoppy flavor with a medium mouth feel. Better then most typical IPA’s.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 italianjohn (1644) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 1, 2010
Clear golden pour white head ... and some lacing .... citrusy hop aroma .... taste of sweet malts and citrusy with a light bitter hop finish ... the aroma of hops kind of fools you on this one because the flavor isn’t very hoppy but its a decent ipa
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 RSRIZZO (1634) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JAN 31, 2009
Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and a tight white head. Aroma is a floral hop scent. Taste is crisp and bitter. Starting with lighter medium body it goes down with a crisp easy feel. Finish come in bitter with a nice malty grain taste. After taste is more bitterness and a floral hop flavor. Overall its a very good IPA that leans on the bitter side.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jcr (1624) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - OCT 23, 2007
Dark yellow and cloudy body, small, frothy head. Citrus/pine/resin nose with some light maltiness in the background. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderatley bitter. Tastes of grapefruit with hints of orange rind. Medium body and watery texture. Lively carbonation. The finish is lightly acidic. Nice enough, but nothing beyond ordinary.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Vertical Bacon Strips (1616) - Asshat, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 23, 2010
On tap in the Seattle airport. Incredibly clear. Yellowy amber with a thin bubbly white cap and tons of early lacing. Candylike aroma of sweet peaches, cotton candy, light caramel, light pine - smells juicy somehow. Tasty yet a touch thin. Lots of sharp pine and citrus hit quick. Tangy. Big bitterness with grapefruit, sweetness, apricot / orange and xaramel with seems only serve as a background flavor. Spicy and sharp. Incredibly carbonated - as in over carbonated. I really like the sharp citrus and pine bite that comes across blunt and clean. The last beer of my trip unless more flights are cancelled.
