COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

Bomber. intriguing smell with a hint of citrus. Body is a lighter golden brown. A smooth beer with not very much bite; fairly drinkable.

12oz bottle from a buddy from work. A bit old I’m thinking. 12 oz. bottle. Pours slightly cloudy golden color. Dry cirtusy hops in the nose. Taste is dry with some hoppy bitterness, but less than I expected. Not a whole lot else going on. Decent but nothing special.

on tap @ ammirato’s airshow bar in Bremerton. golden yellow in color with a small white head. smelt of cherrios and hops. taste of citrus, pear, little sweet and bitter. a good beer just wish it was a little more bitter.

Bottle - Perfectly clear light amber pour with a thin foamy white head. Love the aroma on this--tons of citrusy hops with some pine mixed in. A little onion. Reminds me a bit of the hop profile on NG Moon Man. A bit of honey sweet malt in the background--yum. Flavor is roughly the same--real clean, citrusy hops and a light sweet malt base to give it a little form. Dusty yeast on the finish, along with some lightly spicy hops. Blown away at the low ratings on this--maybe there’s quality control issues? Tastes more like an APA, but that’s fine with me--I dig it.

12oz bottle from belmont station in portland. clear amber-yellow pour with a thin off-white head. aroma of malt and light citrus. thinnish body. taste is mainly the malts with a hint of hops. pretty bland overall. if I suddenly traveled back to college and needed to chug a lot of beer, this would be a good choice. k-6.5

Pours a crystal clear orange-gold with a nice beige cap of foam. Aroma is soft and sweet, with notes of peach, orange, and bubblegum. A bit too faint and sweet for me. Candied lemon wedge flavor with some pithy grapefruit and a pale malt finish with medium bitterness. A little sweet overall but the hops are bright and the bitterness is solid and unastringent.

22 oz. bottle from 99 Bottles. Wispy head. Transparent beer. Light copper color, almost tawny colored. Sweet caramel malts are poking through more than the hops. Light citrus fruit, mainly grapefruit, hop aroma. The hops don’t smack me in the face, and are fairly muted. Too balanced, in the sense that I believe the hop profile should have the clear edge, but it doesn’t. There is a lingering bitterness, but it doesn’t seem fresh and bitter, just bitter for the sake of being, well, bitter. What I am saying is, is that I believe this lacks depth, and nuance. Hops hit the taste buds way in the back of the mouth, but really, this beer isn’t making me rethink my love for the Alaskan Brewing company. Overall, decent IPA; it’s quite solid, but nothing worth getting excited about.
