COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

Bottle. Poured a clear yellowish color. The smallest of white heads. Aroma was very weak for a IPA. Faint hops, citrus, and grass. Flavor was watery and very very weak for an IPA. I really wanted to get into this one. First beer from Alaska. Just not very good.

On tap. The pour was very light copper in color with a super short white head that created average lacing. The aroma was nice with some soft citrus, floral and a bit of pine hops. The flavor was a combination of the aforementioned hops and some spice and malt. A thin bodied, easy drinking IPA.

Pours a clear golden hue with a frothy white head with decent lacing. Aromas of wheat, hay, a light citrus and some more grains...Lacking much hop character in the aroma. Mouth feel is light bodied. Flavors similar to the aromas with a semi dry finish. mmmmm... lacking something.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2007 Sampled at the 2007 Blooms & Brews Fest at the Oregon Gardens. Pours a clear golden color with a small head. Nose is floral. Taste is citrussy and grassy. Fniish is smooth. Body is medium. Tasty and easy to drink.

Pours a transparent bright bronze with a thin white head and a little lacing. Aroma is sweet grainy malts and some lemon citrus hops. Flavor is sweet and malty with some earthy pine bittering hops, probably not enough for an IPA. Light bitter finish.

After sampling a bunch of DIPAs at Naja’s IPA fest, this one didn’t really stand up on its own feet. A faint pine aroma, a bit too thin in the body. Bright orange color, thin white head. Not very impressed.

I was surprised at the quality of this ipa. The brewery isn’t known for hoppiness in any of their beer so I was pleasantly surprised when this nectar hit my palate. Nice floral and citrusy hop aroma. Nice smooth bitterness. Decent beer.

[Bottle, thanks Skyview] Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma is floral hops--almost like a bad perfume, and malt. Taste is about the same, but a fair amount sweeter, and maybe with a hint of fruit--strawberry maybe? Thin mouthfeel. Not that good.
