COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

Pale golden pour with a thin white head. The nose is softly piny with a little bit of light citrus and some soft malt. A kiss of light sweetness. Fairly clean though. More pale ale at this point as the bittering seems quite light to me. Light with a kiss of herbal flavour as well. It’s okay, but a bit boring.

Pours a transparent bright bronze with a thin, stringy-lacing white head. Aroma of slight grainy malts and some lemon citrus hops. Starts lightly sweet and pale malty with some earthy piny bittering hops toward a drier, bittersweet. This needs a bigger, more assertive hop presence, but it’s still quite drinkable.

22oz bottle. Tinny, plasticy, strong catty urine, citruc acid, dried leaves and amonia in the nose. Flavor is strongly catty celery flavored hops, dried leaves, amonia, lemon juice, and dried lawn clippings. Can’t say I’m really digging this one, and after a full glass I’m pretty much sick of it. I think Alaskan whiffed on this one... but maybe the kind of hops they use really aren’t meant to be used in IPA, perhaps a bitter would be more suitable.

Bottle. Pours with a small, foamy white head over a chill hazed, yellow to gold body. Light lace. Aroma is grassy and grainy with a few citrus hops (very mellow). A bit of bread and a touch of wheat. Taste is grainy with some pine hops, a bit of soggy malt, and a touch of caramel. A touch of spicy hops. Lively carbonation and watery. Alcohol is a bit noticeable.

Pours gold/amber with a white head. Smells of citrus and earthy. Tastes citrusy and nicely bitter with a grapefuit like finish. Nice!

22-oz bottle received via trade with 5000. Pours clear orange with an average, fizzy, white head, mostly lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, meal), heavy hops (flowers, perfume, pine, citrus), average yeast (sweat) with notes of pear, apple, and peach. Medium bodied, thin texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a large lasting white head. Aromas of earthiness, light pine, light grapefruit and a hint of carmel. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of earthiness, light pine and a hint of carmel with a crisp lightly bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Earth and spruce toned hoppiness, a bit forest floor like, some dry malt, crystal?, with a bread y and bitter finish. Decent IPA.
