COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

Bottle... Poured a slightly hazy, still transparent, dark orange with a frothy, white head. Hop and malt aroma.. Typical IPA palate with flavors of strong, beefy, earthy hops up front, followed by a smooth malt finish. With other sweet and floral arrangements of flavors in between. Very crisp and refreshing, but somewhat mellow.

Intriguing aroma. Very resinous, bitter and floral hoppy. Its a clear, dark golden color with a small white ring head. The flavor is delicious, bitter with a taint of sweetness at the end. This beer is refreshing and lively. Cheers! P.s. this beer is best drank in a tavern. Re-rate: rating knocked way down because the Brewer thinks what kind of hops they use is so secret. Gimme a fucking break.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with crajun. Pours a clear amber with a moderate off-white head that lasted through the first two sips and left light lace. Pleasant aroma of grapefruit and pine. The flavor is mild malt followed by a mellow dose of grapefruit and pine hops bitterness. Medium bodied. No problems.

There is an unpleasant aroma that I will call, for lack of a better word, poopy. Tastes better than it smells, but not much. Some light hoppiness, but more in the range of an english pale than an ipa. Glad that I tried a single rather than a six-pack. Worthless beer

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2012 Pours a very clear orange with good layer of slightly off-white head. Not a lot of lacing. Lots of mango in the nose. Tastes like passion fruit and some pine. Its okay. Much better options available.

Clear golden with a white head that’s short-lived and laces a little bit. Aroma is citrus, bread, sweat, and a little pine. Yep, there’s a slight BO smell in there. Taste is malty and soapy with a moderate bitterness. Light-medium bodied. You can do much better in an IPA.

Pours a burnt orange with an average white head. Aroma of gentle citrus and pine, toast, earth, and nuts. Flavor begins with the toasted and earthy malt flavors but eventually melds with gentle pine, lemon, and planty hops. Finishes with a more bitter grapefruit tang and a semi earthy aftertaste. Medium-light bodied, well carbonated, and easy to drink, the mouthfeel doesn’t really offer much to the beer. It’s simply there. IPAs like this are meant to wash down your dinner, and this one did that task very well. But it’s not gonna be on anyone’s all-time list.

On draft at Old Settler’s Music Festival. Pours a slightly hazy very light orange. White head. Pine hops in the nose, medium malt in the body. Solid, but not overpowering hop bitterness in the finish. Decent IPA.

On tap at Luckys. Pours a clear copper with a small off white head leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is floral hops and pine. Medium mouthfeel with a strong hop bite and bitter lingering dry finish. A good IPA from Alaskan.

Bottle - pours light yellow with a medium head. Has the citrus aroma but leans more towards an earthy taste. Definitely finishes dry.
