COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

At the brewery in Juneau, not yet bottled. Nice golden color with hoppy and slight pine nose. Crisp, very refreshing, much lighter on the hops than most NE IPAs but the clean finish had me wanting more. Very easy to drink. I’d certainly buy it if it was available. The brewer said it was still in the testing phase and should be bottled in a couple years.

From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Peachy and grapefruity hops aroma. Smooth and crisp hops flavour of the same. This keeps lingering into a lovely fruity hops finish. Very smooth flavourwise!

Location: On tap at the The Fish Market in San Diego, 1/5/10

Aroma: Aroma is mostly pine, resiny, and grapefruit hops
Appearance: Golden color with lots a very lacy head
Flavor: Has a strong fruit and pine bitter, hoppy flavor to it
Palate: Smooth and crisp with a nice mouthfeel and a long duration
Overall Impression: I really liked this beer. It’s a bit on the one dimensional side, but I just really enjoyed that one dimension. It could have been the great meal overlooking the water, the fact that I was enjoying the 75 degree days of So Cal instead of the 20 degree days of the NE, or that I’m just a sucker for a pine/grapefruit IPA, but I enjoyed this one quite a bit.

Nice gold/yellow thin white head, smell citrus, taste grapefruit and spruce. I couldn’t taste the malt over the hops, carbonation sparkles over the tongue feels very nice. refreshing and very drinkable

Tap at the Yard House Las Vegas. I don’t believe how low this beer is rated. Aroma is full with grapefruit and blossom, hops aren’t immense but they are present and accounted for. Good citric intensity with piney outlines. Highly drinkable yet well-crafted.

Bottle - Perfectly clear light amber pour with a thin foamy white head. Love the aroma on this--tons of citrusy hops with some pine mixed in. A little onion. Reminds me a bit of the hop profile on NG Moon Man. A bit of honey sweet malt in the background--yum. Flavor is roughly the same--real clean, citrusy hops and a light sweet malt base to give it a little form. Dusty yeast on the finish, along with some lightly spicy hops. Blown away at the low ratings on this--maybe there’s quality control issues? Tastes more like an APA, but that’s fine with me--I dig it.
