COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

[435-20070725] 355mL (w/ jerc, tuqueboy). Grapefruit hoppy citrus aroma with wheaty light band-aid notes. Clear, orange yellow body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Grainy yeast hops flavour. Medium body. Nicely muted hops flavour.

bottle from SecretSanta ( Thanks!) My first alaska beer, and this is a good one, probalby the easiest drinking IPA i’ve had, its not overwhelming with hops which normally would dock the rating but this drank so smooth with just the right bitterness, i could drink gallons.

12 oz. bottle. Pours an orange/light amber color. Aroma: Hoppy, with a floral hint. Flavor: Slight bitterness, with just the right about of hops.

On tap at Old Chicago. Brew pours a fairly uneventful 14 karat gold with moderate carbonation and 2-finger fluffy white head. Aroma is ripe citrus including grapefruit and lemon zest, and has only a hint of pine. Nothing terribly complex in this one but drinkable. Medium mouthfeel.

Poured from Bottle into Tulip glass. Pours a clear orange-yellow color with a finger of creamy head that remains a layer atop the glass as the beer is drank. Aroma is citrus, grassy hops with some touches of malt. The flavor is light citrus hops and malt upfront with some lemon zest and soft bitter finish. Its light to medium bodied with a nice crispness. This is an easy drinking IPA. I would really just prefer a little more hop character to this beer but the malt and the of the beer body is just where I believe an IPA should be.

Poured a dark golden color. Smaller head. Aroma of softer citrus hops and some caramel notes. Medlite bitter, lite sweetness, ends sort of abruptly. Med lite bodied, slick texture. Light carbonation. A weaker ipa than most but still very smooth and drinkable.

On tap pours a enticing gold with a thick head which left lots of lacing. Smells of hops though not as intense as pliney or arrogant. Aromas of peaches and pine. Tastes refreshing and crisp. a good beer for the masses. The fervent hop heads will think this a weak cousin but it has it’s place. Finishes crisp and slightly sweet.
