COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

12 oz bottle the aroma was better than average with a definite hop note. The pour was clear with a burnished copper hue. The flavor was hardy but the finish was sharp on the tongue. Drinkable overall.

651 ml bottle. Pours a gold color with a decent, clingy white head that lasts. Lots of carbonation. Taste is of pine, hops and fruit. Has a nice bitterness to it. Similar aroma. Full, slightly oily body. Very easy to drink and rather refreshing.

From a 220z. bottle purchased locally. Aroma is pineapple and some citrus. Color is a clear gold with a half inch white head. Bitter with some toasty malt. A touch of malty sweetness, but only a little. Hop flavor is earthy and a little piney. Carbonation may be a touch too much, a little CO2 bite. Clean and dry with a little lingering bitterness and hop flavor. Not bad over all.

Of all the Alaskan beers I’ve had, this is probably the best. Compared to their pale, you’d think it came from a different brewery. It has a more fuller body and a great aroma, a golden yellow color and nice white head. Clean, hoppy flavor and refreshingly good.
