COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

Sharp almost caustic hop bite up front wtih acidic citrus notes. Slight malt breadiness on the nose. I like more substantial and sweet malt in my IPA- I find that it allows me to appreciate the hop- so does that mean i’m not a hop head? If being a hop head means unadulterated hops than count me out. I have always preferred a dialectic to a diatribe. Thanks Dan.

Rich golden amber color, well carbonated. Tangy hoppy citrus aroma. Sweet sharpe-like flavor on the tongue. Has some white bread characteristics. Not much of a hop bite, more like a pale ale. Sits mild on the palate at the end, hops should be screaming at the back of the tongue. Not bad though.

hayduke (2445) - Eureka, California, USA - NOV 20, 2007
From a 12 oz bottle purchased in Clarkston, Washington, this poured a gold color with fluffy and long lasting white head and moderate lacing. Nose of light hops, with some pine and flowers. Medium mouthfeel Flavor of citrus and mild malts. Long bitter finish.

Pours a nice golden color with frothy white head. Great lasting head with stuck solid lacing. Aroma is spicy hops. Flavor is actually well balanced. Some malt charecter with some hops coming through as well. Clean finish with some lingering hops. Not bad, very similar to Bridgeport.

Bomber from BevMo in Scottsdale. Clear light amber pour and small white head with a little lacing. Fresh pine and spruce aroma. Mild citrus and biscuity flavor with notes that reminded me of their Winter Ale. Mouthfeel a bit on the thin side. Dry snappy finish. Not your everyday IPA and worth a try if you can get your glass on one.

SDalkoholic (1490) - Chula Vista, California, USA - JUL 8, 2007
22 oz bomber, Keg N bottle, consumed July 9th. Pours as a firm golden blonde liquid with thin layer of film. The nose is moderately hopped but overall subdued and relaxed. Initial flavor is bitter with puny citrus and hop presence. Finishes with a metallic aftertaste and a bland first impression.

Dry, raspy, herbal style. Some metallic dryness works well. Middle weight in terms of flavour intensity but its well made.

Light amber. Hoppy aroma- rather unusual. Thin head. Kind of watery in substance. Bitter like an IPA should be with a slight sweetness to balance. Drinkable - maybe too drinkable for this style. Needs a little more body.
