Bottle at Pt. Loma Seafood. Orange golden in color with a little head. Little hoppy aroma with some soggy cardboard notes. Light citrusy hoppy flavor. Could be a much better beer. Ok tasting.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 IndianaRed (1734) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 26, 2010
Botle pours a crystal clear light yellow orange with a small lively white head that faded rather quickly. Very little IPA aroma. A little sweet maltiness and maybe a little fresh pine/grassines. Defiantly the sorriest excuse I have seen for an IPA so far. Flavor also is mostly light sweet malt. Slight hop bitterness, barely even enough to offset the remaining residual sugars. Which is not much. It’s like someone poured half my glass with Corona first. A little bitter bite at then end...but I think that is just the hops saying "SYCHE! ! "
Not bad, per se’ just very disappointing.

Bottle, pours a rather yellow color, with a decent white head, mild hop aroma, some light malt sweetness, and medium hops, a sessionable ipa, really a sessionable IPA? hmm.
2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rusty (1517) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAR 7, 2008
Pours a see through amber with a small fizzy head. Slight aroma of hops and malt, really a pretty weak aroma for a IPA. Taste of malt, and a slight hint of a hop and bitterness at the finish. Very watery mouthfeel. This was just okay for me.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Nik925 (635) - California, USA - SEP 2, 2008
Metal dominates the taste, followed by some funky malt...not a good combo. LOW, unreasonably low hop flavor for an IPA, and what little hop flavor remains is not that great. Ugly color, little head. Other than all that, not bad.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ulfada (257) - North Carolina, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Pale yellow pour, tall white head, good lacing. Citrus aroma. Thin body, not much in the way of hop flavor. This would be a decent pale ale, but it is a boring IPA.

Not bad for an IPA, but does not meet expectations for other Alaskans. Will sample others before we go back for this one.
