Bottle shared by Tim, thanks
Appearance: Pours clear golden with a small white head and some lacing left in the glass
Aroma: Floral, citrus and candy flavors
Taste: Floral, candy and some hops in the finish
A nice IPA, clean and tasty. Not alot of hops, but it was bottled 13 months before so they may have dropped out.

Great label art. Pours slightly amber with an off-white 3/4 inch head. Plenty of lacing.
Big hop and piney-citrus aroma.
Flavor is crisp, resinous citrus hops, sweet malt with excellent balance. Website lists IBU as 55 which is more than enough for my tastes.
Palate is average.
Overall a fine IPA, maybe a bit mild compared to some of the hop-bombs being brewed nowadays but I enjoyed this very much. Very clean, dry-bitter finish. Well recommended.

Bomber thanks to Wavers1....Big nose of malt and grapefruit, color is a dirty cloudy orange with a nice head. Taste however is not blow your hair back amazing, but still pretty palatable. Some floral hop notes, some malt, modest carbonation.Malt is stronger than the fruit, Im thinking this could be a bit more balanced. Finish has a light bitter, and has a somewhat tart and dry finish. Not bad....this should rate higher, but I may have a good bottle too.....never know.

bottle. Pours a honey gold with white bubbly head. Aroma of light floral hops, fruity but not in a citrus way, more like subtle berries. Flavor of sweet floral hops, crisp bite aspect to it, which progresses to a bitterness, and with a nice honey sweetness on the finish. Medium to full bodied, this is a nice take on an IPA. It’s a little non-traditional which I like, very drinkable, good session. Not as big in hoppiness as lots of american IPAs tend to be but still big in flavor, with a strong enough hop presence to justify its IPA status. The best way to describe this IPA is as crisp and flowery, with a good hop bite. Nice.

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Nonic Imperial Pint. Best by date of July 23, 2011.
Appearance: Clear, light gold without much head and no lacing. Looks a little too lager-like.
Aroma: Tangerine, with light grapefruit and tropical notes. Some toasted malts.
Taste: Dry, toasted malt backbone with borderline tart grapefruit and tangerine co-mingling. Finish is slightly bitter and spicy, but fairly light overall for an IPA.
Palate: Moderate carbonation, light to medium body with a very dry finish. A little lighter than I prefer but the tart-like dryness is great.
Overall: Very nice everyday IPA. Not too bold on flavor, but what is present is quite enjoyable.

The Alaskan IPA has a beautiful golden color. The first taste is a relaxing malty presence followed my the sharp hoppy finish that makes this IPA so delicious.
