3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Blackwells. Dated 7-30-14. Wonder if I just bought a 6 month old DIPA. Nose is slightly vegetal with a light citrus hoppy note. Pour is light red with a small white head. Taste is moderately vegetal with a light heat to it. Unfortunately the hops seem to be past their prime. Overall this is still an enjoyable beer, but would like to try fresher.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Limited release pilot series. Nothing amazing here and frankly no jalapeño flavor at all. I've had other jalapeño beers that were much better. Worth having once if you're a crazy beer nerd like me.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22oz bomber. Green pickle aroma. Not spicy at all. Lots of jalapeno depth, but no heat to speak of. Really accentuates and works well with the hops. Classic, well brewed. Lots of malt depth. Very enjoyable beverage.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared by Darrell. Thanks man.
Copper orange body with a small off-white head. Aromas of citrus and hops. Spicy peppers emerge more as the beer warms a bit. Jalapeño blends nicely into the flavor profile, rather than overpower. An interesting beer. Fun to try. Best in small quantities.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Copper gold with off-white head. Aroma is predominantly topical citrus hop with a hint of jalapeno. Flavor is sweet citrus hop and caramel malt. Bitter hoppy finish which gives way to a lingering sweet. This bottle was not spicy; but there was a jalapeno in the flavor; very nice beer. Special thanks for my wife and her friend Melissa who went to great lengths to get this bottle from Seattle to Baltimore!

Thanks to Maxbier for sharing this one. Pours copper color with white head. Fruity pineapple aroma with some Jalapeño spiciness. Sweet malty start with tropical fruit flavors of pineapple and mango. Citrusy finish with some pepper flavor. Not much heat from peppers.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A darker rich malty base and adequate juicy hops greet the nose. Probably their best IpA, peppers or not. Hoppy and sweet and big, yet balanced. Which is good, cause the pepper is pretty underwhelming. Nearly undetectable in the nose and light in flavor. Decent additional flavor, no heat (except for the alcohol). Liked the beer but wanted more peppers
