COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fresh, crisp and inviting, this golden ale is a favorite with crab, prawns and salads. The floral aroma of hops is derived from dry hopping during the fermentation process.

7/9/08 From the bottle. Aroma is bit different, and seems like a blend on noble and PNW hops balanced by bready malt. Appearance is clear yellow with a fairly well maintained white head. Flavor is sweet malt forward, with very slight sour breadiness. Hops are again hints of both PNW and noble hops, with medium bittering that evenly balances the malt. mouthfeel is low bodied with a medium carb texture. Overall, not bad, but not excellent. May need to be a bit stronger flavored in some areas. Still, a quite easy drinking pale ale.

Beaver (873) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 13, 2008
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold with a frothy white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet malts, honey and some lemoney hops.

The flavor is sweet and biscuity malts with a mild citrus hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some semi-sharp carbonation.

Overall, a decent mild pale / golden ale.

Dogbrick (4522) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 10, 2008
Sample at Alan’s HSC initation. This beer pours a clear golden color with a thin white head that fizzes away quickly. Lightl bready malt and hops in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet malt and honey, plus some mild hops and spice. The finish is sweet with notes of malt and citrus, and the aftertaste is mildly spiced hops. Overall, the name is misleading on this beer considering the style. Fairly average for what it is.

Lemony citrus nose. Pure gold color, smallish head. Burned lemon honey sweetness, piney hop bitterness for balance. Light to medium body, good carbonation, sweet finish that is somewhat clean. This is a really nice session beer, not too simple, not too overwhelming. This is a good one.

Bottle sampled at Alan’s HSC initiation, thanks Dogbrick: Pours a golden color with a thick frothy head. Aroma is grainy and sweet malts. Flavor is similar, a bit of honey, lightly toasted malt, and a pretty sweet finish.
