3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 sandollor (48) - GERMANY - JUN 14, 2007
This is a pretty good beer with, light head, light hops, light malty flavor that is smooth with a decent after taste. I wish it had less crisp and more hops in the flavor, then it would be a great beer instead of a good beer.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 luckygirl (1221) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 10, 2007
Bottled. Beer is slightly hazy medium gold with a small, white, frothy, quickly diminishing head.
Malty with a trace of grain; Moderate hop note of resin/pine, light note of fruity citrus; Trace of yeasty basement.
The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly/moderately acidic, lightly bitter with a long, moderately acidic, lightly/moderately bitter, lightly/moderately sweet finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively-to-fizzy.
Interesting for the style.

Bottle (A070507). Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, grapefruit, resin). Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Nice balance for the style (good amount of bittering). Bright hop character but overall simple aroma. Good.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 Tejas (762) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 2, 2007

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Canadianlush (169) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUN 2, 2007
Had this one at the Seattle airport on tap. Poured a dark golden yellow with almost no head which was a let down. Hoppy and with obvious hints of lemon in the aroma and taste it was definitely sweet for a pale. That’s OK with me as I find most American brewers over hop their ales. Finishes short and tasty. Very drinkable.

(Bottle) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of florals, caramel, and earthiness. Flavor of crisp, clean hops with a nice malt balance. The carbonation in body correlates well with the hops.
