COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fresh, crisp and inviting, this golden ale is a favorite with crab, prawns and salads. The floral aroma of hops is derived from dry hopping during the fermentation process.

Appearance: Pours a bright golden yellow color with a splash tea, giving it some copper hues. The head was small, white, and faded fast. The lacing is heavy. Smell: The aroma is a bit reserved but does have some hints of pale malts, sweet sugars and a light fruity attribute and a hit of citric hops. Clean. Taste: Beginning to end this is a simple straightforward beer. To me it is built as a replacement for water. Maybe a session beer while shoveling Alaskan snow or mowing the lawn Southern USA; it is a beer that is pleasant but small and simple (even has a surprisingly low ABV. The taste starts fruity, and a bit like candied malts. The flavor gradually tips the scale into a light citrus hop attribute but all the while it maintains the underlying sugary water feel and taste it starts off with. Finish is mild and mostly clean, yet dry and lightly bitter. Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel was a medium-to-light body that is very smooth. Drinkability: This is a working mans drinking beer. Small and easy to session, it is very refreshing despite the fact that it lacks a bit of uniqueness. Hope this is helpful. Cheers!

Bottle, courtesy of Buck Dich (thanks!). Pours clear deep golden with a small white head. Lemon and grain in the nose. Flavor has notes of floral hops, lemon, a tinge of honey and pale malt - moderately sweet, light but balancing bitterness. Medium bodied with a thin, watery finish and moderate carbonation. Nothing special, but a solid drinkin’ beer.

Pours golden with a white head. Floral aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet, some citrus and grass. Bitterness was respectable. Finshed dry. Nothing spectacular, but a good session beer on a hot day.

12-oz. Pours dark yellow, almost a deep straw color, with a fizzy, falling white head. Very sharp sweet grass fragrance, with some floral hops accentuating. Body’s almost all fizz--there are some light streams in the glass, but nothing prepares you for the Mr. Bubble mouthwashing you get. There’s some sweet hay hop in the finish, and some caramel-y malt on the mid-palate, too. This is a very sweet and kind nice mild mannered beer. Drinking it is like making conversation with your sheltered cousin at a family reunion--you know the one, with the overprotective parents, who get pretty steamed if you so much as say "darn" in front of him. I want to pat this beer on the head and buy it a pack of cigarettes so it can sneak off behind the boathouse for a while.

12oz bottle-Has an aroma of grass, hops, malt and citrus on a light golden yellow body. A taste of a golden so I don’t understand why they call it a Pale and not Alasken golden since the label says golden. It follows up dry and with a bitter finish. Pretty decent beer.

From the bottle.

Pours a light golden with a medium head. The aroma is slightly grassy, mildly citrus; the flavor follows, clean, pleasingly dry, slight orange marmalade, nice bitter finish, refreshing light mouthfeel.

Really quite a nice golden ale.
