Aroma of citrusy hop, perhaps a hint of pine. Tarnished brass color with a substantial head that sticks. Even a bit a lacing. Starts with a soft citrus character, decent mouthfeel, might be a hint of sweetness in the middle, but all ends well with a light persisting bitterness.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas and tastes of citrus with some sweet malts. Nothing really stood out nor was it terrible.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lubiere (6979) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2003
Golden colour with some haze, starts with a nice citrussy nose but with a little bit of cardboard. Again, in the mouth, there is a plaeasnt hops and citrus dancing together, but there seems to be some oxidation. Still a rather pleasant beer

Pale golden colour and a medium-sized white head. Citrusy and yeasty aromas. Very little obvious hop aroma, but the flavour was still well-balanced. Piney hops and a crisp finish. A good pale ale.

Pours a transparent deep golden bronze with a spotty, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly toasted pale malts with a touch of grapefruity hops. Body starts with good malty sweetness well-balanced with a fresh piny hoppiness toward a slightly drier, crisp bittersweet finish. A pretty good APA.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 JorisPPattyn (6710) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - APR 19, 2006
Pale amber-gold, fully clear; with a medium, just off-white head. Bit of iodium nose, seaweed, pale malts, peanuts. High restsweetness, high grain level. I think "crisp" is the word, with means usually not enough hops, and often adjuncts; There’s hops here, but they are not really assertive. Restsugars give lots of slickness, nearly cloying. Not their best offering IMO.

Grainy nose, flavor is rotten vegetables, salty bread and crackers, and soil. Could this be a bad sample? Tastes similar to Alaskan Amber and even the ESB... I just don’t have a taste for these... perhaps they yeast that ABC uses?

Bottle. Pours gold with orange hints and a rocky white tall head; lined lacing. Fragrant floral hop and light malt (grain) aroma with yeast notes. Malty grain and acidic bitter floral hop lasting flavor. Fizzy and light refreshing palate.
