COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fresh, crisp and inviting, this golden ale is a favorite with crab, prawns and salads. The floral aroma of hops is derived from dry hopping during the fermentation process.

Amber was excellent and I like this one even more. I’ve wondered why this one hasn’t received more kudo’s from reading reviews. As a taster its the best blonde I’ve had. Citrusy, sweet, little hoppy presense. It gets your attention. This is liquid gold. After having consumed I’m surprised its not rated higher than it already is.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2004 Cloudy golden color with a small but lasting white head. The aroma is terriffic: citrusy and pineapple. Flavor is very hoppy. Bitterness is in style and not overpowering as you would expect with all of the hops in the flavor and nose. Enough malty sweetness to carry hoppiness. Reminds me of Dreadnaught’s little brother, must try this again to make sure I’m not delusional. Second rating. Consistent with the first rating but a little sulfuric? taste. Aroma is still good. 4.4 down to a 4.2, maybe I'm a little critical since I've initially rated so high.

vanilla and caramel in the aroma with some spicy hops. i bought this beer bassed on the smoked porters hype. didn’t dissapoint. malt balances a spritcy hop taste. damn good
