UPDATED: MAR 23, 2003 A limpid deep golden amber color, the head is modest in size, frothy in texture, the lace left over a fine coating to conceal the glass. Sweet malt nose, lightly floral, citrus crisp and fresh, start is malt laden and lightly sweet with the top middling in feel. Finish has an astringent bite, the hops apropos to the style, dry lingering aftertaste, and quite a nice drinkable beer that would make a fine session beer for the hot summer days.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of boring malt, and a bit of hops, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks pinball for sharing.

Golden orange topped by a marshmallowy-thick off-cream head. Very nice. Light toffeeish biscuit, candyish fruit, citrusy hops. Mellow, yeast-tinged cookie malt. Caramelly-sweet with a hint of fruit. Hops balance sweetness somewhat. Light citrus and sap; moderately bitter. Needs more hop presence. Yeasty-bitter finish. Soft, medium-bodied; a little creamy.

Bottle courtesy Fratto. This beer smells very grainy. Sharp notes, metallic and fruity pebbles. Oops appearance. Pours a golden yellow color. White head. Flavor is good! Hops and grains for sure on the flavor. Hoppy for a pale but good!
