3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 marcus (5104) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 8, 2011
Bottle from Star Grocery, Berkeley. Pours murky orange with a decent beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a funky slightly sour caramel malt flavor with a dry bitter finish. There is very little sweetness, as in many DIPAs. A bit too caustic for me.

I would say skip it. It’s just not impressive at all. Mango pineapple nose. After that pretty boring for a double. Kinda falls flat. Color is good. Head is not there. You know how a double is supposed too smack you in the face or punch you in the stomach. This is like a second or third run of Mongo IPA.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ChazMania (640) - Pasadena, California, USA - JUN 23, 2011
Bomber poured into my Stone IPA glass- aroma is pleasing of pungent yeast and aromatic hops. Cloudy and murky dank dark orange; Taste is off balance, not quite sour but in that direction; really tangy in a not good way. The finish left me puckering for water. Not terrible but very disappointing for me personally.

Murky copper pour with a small eggshell head that left a spot or two of lacing. Aroma of orange peel and pine accompanied with loads of caramel. Lots of sweetness with the citrus. Candied, almost...like a sugary candied orange wedge. Medium mouthfeel. Good not great.

Dark Amber in color, slight haze with a thin head. Big hops aroma with fruit and floral aroma and flavors. Nice malt makes for a tasty brew. This was a great Double IPA.

Bomber thanks to Jeremy. Pours a cloudy copper color with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet citrus and rich malts. The flavor was a tropical fruit forward hop, some biscuit, light pine, very smooth. Nice. Easy to drink.
