COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied deep mahogany ale with ruby red highlights. Citrus notes of chamomile, grapefruit and Meyer lemon brighten the aroma. A zesty array of hop flavors from mango and bitter orange to green mint and hibiscus meld with the nutty, roasted caramel and subtle dried fruit flavors of the complex malt profile to create a surprisingly fresh, yet warming example of the style.

Bottle. Pours an amber reddish color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty piney hoppy aroma. Fruity malty piney hoppy bitter flavor with weak hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty piney hoppy bitter finish.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours very dark - but held to light there’s a lot of garnet in it - decent creamy beige head. Aroma is mild cat piss - but there’s some roasty malt and arguably pine too. Full bodied cause of the creamy carb. Flavor is roasty malt with a heck of a lot of citrus and resin. Fact is, the feel is actually kind of like a hoppy barley wine - but there’s too much hop for that. Point: it’s not harsh - it’s smooth - but it’s hoppy enough to stand up as a NW hop bomb IMHO. Curl up around one or two of these, and go to bed. Excellent ale.

Bomber poured a clear reddish amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, pink grapefruit, tangerine, peach, melon and light mint. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, pine, pink grapefruit, tangerine and light mint with a smooth dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

Hazed copper pour with an off-white head. Caramel and brown sugar sweetness to the aroma. Pine, orange peel, and grapefruit hop notes balance the sweetness. The flavor is fairly sweet and malty. Lots of caramel and brown sugar. Good pine and grapefruit bitterness with some more fruity citrus notes to it.

Bomber. Poured fiery reddish-amber with a short smoked beige head. The aroma picked up sweet, juicy fruits (pear, citrus, and some redder stuff).. big, fresh hoppage around.. decadent and very enticing. The flavor carried through.. sweet fruit and biscuity notes at the core with a bit of molasses too.. juicy fruits, resiny pine, and black pepper around.. finished with more of the fruit and a nice spice kick. Medium-bodied with moderate-plus bitterness on the palate.. fresh and well-constructed, and I’m not a fan of the style.

22oz bomber pours a clear amber to ruby red with a tan head of foam and leaving behind spotty lacing. The aroma offers up wonderful hoppy earthy dankness with bits of pine and citrus in the background. Yes! The taste is firmly hoppy with thick wedges of dank hops and grapefruit to tangelo citrus hop goodness. It unloads robust levels of bitter hoppiness with just snippets of flavor hops and faint malt sweetness creating additional depth and interest. The beer is only dark in color as I get no crystal malts or roasted malt flavors. Solid brew. If this was less expensive I’d get lots more.

22. Pours a clear dark amber with a dense and creamy tan head that lasts and lasts. Big sweet approachable oranges and pineapples nose with plenty of caramel showing.God, it just smells delicious. Creamy medium body with soft carb--a little more effervescence would have pushed this one into the stratosphere. Dark caramel, oranges, and pineapples on the mid palate. Long tangy resiny finish. Really good.

Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Deep red- orange with a dense beige head that laces thickly. Lovely aroma of fresh pineapple, citrus, and caramel malt that makes me think more of melon. Flavour-dense palate that is equally malty and hoppy, again literally bursting with tropical fruit aromatics. Unlike some IRAs, this strikes the right balance without becoming cloyingly sweet. Really delicious!
