Interesting combo, but probably prefer them separately. Pumpkin kinda conflicts with the traditional porter/stout notes.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pour is a black with a small thin tan head. Aroma is a nice mix of brown sugar and cinnamon spices. Flavor is a smoky malt to start then comes some pumpkin pie spices and dare I say you can even taste some actual pumpkin in this. Finish is a rich roast malt and some sweetness from the brown sugar. Decent pumpkin porter, most Iíve had either go with a really heavy roasted malt or spiced out the wazoo. This is a nice mix of both

Medium brown, thin head. Aroma has a lot of pumpkin, spice...nutmeg, cocoa, pumpkin and cinnamon on the palate. Good brew. Nice, balanced spiced porter.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a darker brown color with a tan colored head. A big fresh pumpkin spice aroma. A very slight chocolate in the background. A lot of pumpkin pie qualities. I donít think I could drink very much as its a bit on the sweet side. It does get smoother as it warms. It becomes a little more mellow of a drink. Overall not bad.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark ruby pour - soapy lace - nose is about medium in the spice intensity compared to other pumpkin beers, but there is also a nice roasted pumpkin character and some roasty malt - low carbonation, medium body - fairly sweet pumpkin flesh and brown sugar - not really any porter character - nutmeg and cinnamon through the middle - just a light bit of roast - toasty pumpkin finish - itís okay, but Iím getting a little tired of pumpkin porters and stouts that have no real porter or stout character (Iím lookiní at you, Southern Tier Warlock).

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not as much pumpkin as I would like, but a good undertone. More of a brown sugar and a little bit of spice.
Just a little on the sweeter side making it hard to drink more than one or two in a row, unless you are eating something salty.. then the balance is great.

Pours a dark brown almost black with khaki colored head. Pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin, and some roast on the nose; follows onto the palate. A very well done pumpkin style beer.

12 oz bottle from Evergreen Discount. Almost black appearance with a small, lingering tan head. Aroma of pumpkin spices, vanilla. cinnamon, nutmeg and dark malts. Similar flavor, smooth, malty and lightly sweet with mild spiciness. Medium body, creamy and pretty smooth. Iím not too big on pumpkin beers, but this one is pretty solid.
