3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
651mL. Deep brown pour. Rocky, thicker tan foam. Okay retention, little lacing. Fresher pumpkin pie volatiles off the bat, mild malted milk chocolate balls, fresher dusty nutmeg, mild detergent/fragrance. Taste pretty solid brown ale, a lot more lemon acid than expected, low pumpkin flavor- flashes of cinnamon and nutmeg. Palate is a bit too bubbly with mild roast and more brown ale in profile. Weaker boost than abv hints. Overall, solid spiced brown ale that I would peg as 5%.
