3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ Chuckís 85th. Pours pale pinkish amber. Aroma is fruit, yeah raspberries. Taste is initial sharp tartness with raspberries in the finish. Pleasant wheat body. Aftertaste is lingering tart that slowly fades into sour. Not bad, and refreshingly not crazy sweet. Probably not worth the pricey bottle fee.

Copper, red-hued, slight haze, off-white head. Aroma of spicy wheat, biscuit, raspberry evident. Flavor: grainy malt with some spicy wheat, lightly tart raspberries and moderate hop bitterness achieves nice balance. Easy-drinking.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This one surprised me. Cloudy red pour with slightly off white head. Faint fruity nose. The flavor is identical to Leinieís Berry Weiss except slightly less sweet with more hops in the finish. Much better than I expected. Not bad!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a reddish-orange color with small head, that dissipates quickly. Strong aroma of raspberries and wheat. Flavor is dominated by the raspberries, with a bitter wheat undercurrent. Not particularly sweet, but an interesting combination of flavors. Mouthfeel a bit on the thin side. Glad I gave it a try, though Iím not sure Iíd want another.

Taste is a raspberry tartness with a light grainy malt sweetness and some mild hop bitterness. Medium bodied with adequate carbonation leaving a pleasant sensation on the palate.
