12 oz bottle. Pours a dark brown / black with a thin brown head that quickly diminishes to a thin collar.

The aroma is a bit subdued but nice - sweet grainy chocolate malts and some coffee.

The flavor is sweet lactic and nutty chocolate malts with some coffee notes. It has a roasted dry finish that balances the sweetness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly watery and chalky.

Overall, a nice easy drinking stout.

Rich mahogany brown, opal. Some creamy off-white head. Very nutty nose, some roast. Smooth and roasty, lots of coffee and toast. Lightly lingering roast. Chewy, but not chewy enough.

Bottle bought in Evanston, Wyoming. Pours a dark brown color with a medium light brown colored head. The aroma is very nice; rich roasted malts, vanilla, oats and some chocolates. The taste is great also; sweet and rich milk chocolate, some bitter coffee, roasted malts, and a light vanilla flavor also. Very nice.

Getting notebook online. Bottle. Pours black/brown. Malty on the nose. Mostly malt with a touch of coffee in flavor. A slightly better then average stout.

I enjoyed this Alaskan more than the amber. Has a slight coffee aftertaste I am fond of.

12oz bottle. Black color with minimal head. Delicate sweet chocolate aroma. Creamy and rich flavors, not strictly relying on chocolate malt overkill, lots of caramel and a little coffee. Smooth with mellow carbonation. A little sweet in the finish, not much hop balance. Excellent Sweet Stout.
