Pours a deep brown with a small tan head that dissipates into a film. Aroma hit me as soon as I opened the bottle but weakened substantially after the pour. Features: Oatmeal, roasty nuts, hops are very difficult to pin, dough, and light alcohol. Taste is fairly well balanced: sweet, followed by sour, then light salt... bitter. Full body, creamy, average carbonation, with a longer bitter finish. Not my favorite stout but would drink again... Would not BUY again.

Smokey and complex with a smooth finish. This is a meaty brew that makes for a very drinkable dessert

The aroma is sweet and toasted with chocolate and coffee. The appearance is brown with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma and astringent. The palate is smooth but thin. Overall nothing special but is definitely a stout.

Bottle - Deep black pour with a thin filmy brown head. Nose is milky, with chalky medium roast. Chocolate and a touch of coffee. Roasty taste, dry and lightly ashy. Milk chocolate--pretty balanced between sweet and roasty. Medium body and smooth carbonation. Good stuff. Real easy drinking but pretty sweet.

Black-brown pour. Nose of light roast malt, brown sugar, cream, and cocoa. Flavor is cocoa/chocolate, brown sugar, and a trail of faint roast malt. Thin. Boring.

had as Oatmeal Stout, aged a bit if you will .. . pours a shadow brown .. light foam .. . mild oatmeal and some cardboard .. . mild, but the mouth has emptied completely .. . . attempted to put my socks on today without sitting down first. the result was a possible broken toe, a pulled hamstring and a busted lamp.

Nearly black, foamy cappuccino head. Copious lacing. Nose is reminiscent of Postum, a malt tea my mother used to drink. Notes of chocolate, roasted grain, and coffee. Taste is nicely balanced; quite sweet, but with some complexity. Full body, lively carbonation. Quite good brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Faint aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, and some coffee bean. Ebony black in color, little to no head...tan in color. Sweet roasted malt is the first taste. Has an off flavor of wet cardboard. Flavors of dark chocolate, and coffee also blended in. Mouth feel is slick with mildly bittersweet finish. I will revisit again as I purchased from craft your own six pack section...may have been a bad bottle.
