Pours a deep brown with a small tan head that dissipates into a film. Aroma hit me as soon as I opened the bottle but weakened substantially after the pour. Features: Oatmeal, roasty nuts, hops are very difficult to pin, dough, and light alcohol. Taste is fairly well balanced: sweet, followed by sour, then light salt... bitter. Full body, creamy, average carbonation, with a longer bitter finish. Not my favorite stout but would drink again... Would not BUY again.

Black stout with no head, softly carbonated. Fruity nose with smokey, solvent hints. Taste is fizzy, smokey, berries. Fizzy gently bitter finish. A really nice stout.
